Welcome! This is the first post on the blog.

I’m using this space to write about software engineering, AI-assisted development, and whatever else I’m learning along the way. But most importantly, I’m reinventing myself from an old-school Software Engineer into an AI-native Software Engineer. Posts here are written in Markdown and — for the first time on this site — published in both English and Spanish. The idea is to produce content that’s authentic and real, not more AI-generated filler — there’s already too much AI-generated content out there that adds no value. I’ll only use AI to fix grammar and spelling, and for translation between languages.

Why a blog

A resume page is good at listing what I’ve done. It’s not very good at explaining how I think about a problem, or walking through something I learned the hard way. That’s what this section is for.

What to expect

• Short, practical write-ups — not exhaustive tutorials.
• A mix of backend engineering, AI tooling, and the occasional post-mortem.
• Some posts written first in Spanish, translated to English afterward (or vice versa) — so it’s normal to see one language show up before the other.
